Editorial:Urban Crimes in Pakistan

Crime, particularly violent including rape and murder, is getting more and more news coverage in Pakistan. Some violent crimes make national level headlines and others go even beyond borders, e.g., Zeinab murder case. This is happening not only in one but also in almost all the major cities around Pakistan. The police data also shows an increasing trend in violent crimes in urban centers across the country.
