Amendments to Anti-Terrorism Law of Pakistan: An Overview

Abstract
This article is discusses the anti-terrorism legislation and later amendments to in the laws in
Pakistan. This is an interpretive research. The researcher used content analysis to discuss and
analyze the amendments and their potential impacts in Pakistan. It is concluded that most of
the amendments were motivated by extraneous factors than by indigenous factors. These
amendments could not succeed in achieving the desired ends.
